The Birth of a Bridge Builder

Community Bridge Builders (CBB) was established in 2013. CBB is a privately owned company and the innovative creation of its Founder, Dr. Christopher L. Maith Sr., Ph.D., MSW. Dr. Maith was born and raised in Baltimore City, Maryland, and attended public schools in Baltimore City. Dr. Maith received his Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 2006, his Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) in 2007, and his Ph.D. in Social Work from Morgan State University School of Social Work in 2023.
Dr. Maith has been educated and trained to practice social work within a wide range of service areas, specifically focusing on community-based social work/human services practice and developing programs and services to address the needs of the urban population and those most in need.
Dr. Maith has accumulated two decades of experience in the human services and social work industry. He has provided both direct and indirect services in office and community-based practices within Baltimore, Maryland, and York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Maith’s extensive experience includes:

Dr. Maith’s extensive experience prompted him to establish CBB, aiming to enhance the skills and abilities of human service professionals in the industry. Seeing the need for ongoing improvements, he encourages professionals to engage effectively with clients and deliver top-tier services in both direct and indirect practice.
Furthermore, Dr. Maith is dedicated to supporting the creation and ongoing enhancement of human services programs and agencies. His commitment extends to leveraging his community-based experience to advance the mission of Community Bridge Builders Human Services Consulting & Education.
